The much anticipated first public data release from Euclid Wide Survey, Data Release 1 (DR1), is expected on October 21, 2026. ESA has released the planned sky coverage of Euclid DR1. The ESA sky map indicates patches of sky (marked in blue) totaling approximately 2100 square degrees, corresponding to the observations yielding the wealth of data to be processed in preparation for DR1, to allow margin for the final expected DR1 coverage estimated to be around 1900 square degrees.
