Euclid Founders are Euclid Consortium (EC) members who made substantial positive contributions critical to the Euclid mission during the selection period (2007 to mid-2011). Euclid Builders are EC members who have made key long-term contributions, especially to the Euclid infrastructure. All EC Founders and Builders have the right to sign all Euclid papers while they are active members of the consortium. The status of Founders and Builders are meant to recognize the efforts of those individuals who have made the Euclid mission possible.

Three Euclid Founders and Twelve Euclid Builders are US scientists, indicative of the significant US contribution to the Euclid mission.
